Girls See Ghosts
Girls See Ghosts is a visual poem I wrote/illustrated in Fall of 2022.
It’s about a lot of things, I think. Mostly the special transgender feeling of being haunted, and trying to live regardless. Like most poetry, however, the meaning is derived from your own interpretation and feelings far more than my babbling.
This piece was done for a college course on Print Media and Book Arts led by Kathleen O’Connell at Middle Tennessee State University. Originally only one copy existed, but it was remastered digitally in 2024 using Procreate.
